Bayonetta 3 – The Story So Far

The third entry into the Bayonetta franchise was revealed at The Game Awards all the way back in 2022.

The game was later confirmed to be a Switch exclusive and fans were told that development was going "very well". Nonetheless, it's non clear just how true that was, equally since and so, things accept progressed very slowly.

Last year, Platinum Games said that Bayonetta news was coming "very soon", which unsurprisingly wasn't truthful leading some to question whether the game had really been cancelled. A question which was eventually rebuffed by the studio.

The biggest hint came back in January when, in an interview with VGC, the game's developer said:
